With more that 35 year of experience in the BPO and Telecom industries, Jared Kearney is currently the Senior Vice President of the High Tech & Software, Aerospace and Communications industry group. He is responsible for top client relationships, strategic direction and profitability of Conduent Services largest global accounts. The portfolio is focused on leveraging Automation, Analytics and AI within multiple capabilities including NextGen Customer Care, HCS, TBO, F&A, Transaction Processing, Consulting & Analytics and Communications and Marketing Services. In his current role Jared has 5800 employees globally.
Prior to joining Conduent, Jared had 30 years of experience in the Telecom industry, where he was sr vice president of sales for Verizon Enterprise Solutions with responsibility for the south central US, Canada and Latin America. In this role, he was charged with growing and maintaining the group’s extensive customer base. He was responsible for over $3.8B in revenue and executing marketing plans to increase penetration. His team’s primary focus was to acquire new customers who want to extend their reach and enter new markets by connecting to a global IP network. The team sold the full Verizon Enterprise Solutions portfolio including network services, managed services, data center, IP, security, professional services and outsourcing solutions, focused on enterprise markets. Kearney took up this role following the launch of Verizon Business in January 2006.
Previously, he worked as regional vice president and general manager for the Corporate West Division of MCI. In this position, he had responsibility for 300 sales and service professionals and over $900M in annual revenue across a nine-state territory. Kearney was responsible for maintaining and growing the company’s National Account program.
Prior to being named regional vice president, Kearney held the position of sales vice president for Commercial Accounts, Texas, with responsibility for $200M in annual revenue. In more than 28 years with the company, Kearney has held multiple management positions in Houston, St. Louis and Philadelphia, beginning his career with the company in Philadelphia in 1984.
Kearney has previously served on the board of directors for the Houston Symphony, and “Spectrum of Hope”, a non-profit pre-school program for autistic children. He has also served on multiple committees with the Houston Chapter of the Special Olympics. He co-chaired the 2009 fundraiser for the Houston Children’s Museum and is involved in multiple other community activities. He sits on the board of the Houston Children’s Museum and CloseWatch Technologies.
Kearney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania.
